Abstract

The utilization of Artificial Intelligence in public organizations is a relatively new field of research, which is of great interest as it reveals expected and unexpected dimensions that must be taken into account during its design, development and implementation in the public field. The purpose of this dissertation is the understanding and systematic recording of Artificial Intelligence technologies, the research in order to provide a detailed presentation of case studies related to its use in public organizations at European and international level and the attempt to formulate proposals for the use of this technology in Greek public sector. The methodology of literal review and internet research was used for the compilation of the relevant material, in academic texts and scientific articles, in texts and studies of the European Union, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and other international organizations and associations, as well as in relevant articles and announcements of official national and international bodies. The results of the research were used for the formulation of the two proposals presented, which approach the issue mainly in theoretical and primary level and can furthermore be used in future research for their further development.
