Abstract

S.S.E. is a different way of doing business based on the general interest, economic development, social dimension, and democratic operation. It is a space in which democratic and solidarity practices that are not centered on the accumulation of profit converge. For its development, it is necessary to create an appropriate ecosystem. Both in the EU and in Greece there are obstacles to its development. In this paper, through the study of the theory and policies that have been promoted so far, both in the European Union and in Greece, the existence of any obstacles or shortcomings in the design and implementation of policies for the promotion of S.S.E. but also proposals that can be implemented for the strengthening of S.S.E. in our country.
