dc.description.abstract | The project at hand is introducing a series of ideas on the simplification of the
recruitment process of regular staff in the Greek Public Sector.
Begging with a detailed description of the process steps, with reference to all
relevant legislation, the process is then depicted both as a Business Process Diagram,
through the B.R.M.N. model, and as a Project through Gantt Chart, using suitable
software (Bizagi Modeler - MS Project), so as to show the complexity and delay form
the time the position opens to the time of the acual recruitment.
Then using S.W.O.T. analysis we explore the general problems of the process
and we measure the Administrative Burdens deriving from the main Information
Obligations for all the involved parties, through the Standard Cost Model. Then, we
use the TOWS Matrix to point out strategic opportunities for procedural
improvement, aiming to ensure the quality of the outcome, both time and cost
reduction and an overall rationalization.
Finaly, using the Bizagi Modeler and in light of located Best Practices we
attempt to present a comprehensive proposal for process re-engineering, through
Process Management Models, addressing the aforementioned issues. | en_US |
