Η διοικητική εποπτεία επί των πράξεων των ΟΤΑ α’ και β’ βαθμού

Abstract

The subject of this paper is the administrative supervision over the actions of Local Government Authorities of first and second instance. The aim of it is a total recording of its theoretical establishment as a concept and the institutional framework that govern this form of control of the administrative action of the local government, in order to evaluate its necessity and its effectiveness. Primary and secondary sources are used and combined. The historical route of the institution is studied and modern trends at a national and European level are recorded. The new system of administrative supervision over the action of the Local Government Authorities introduced by Law 3852/2010 (Kallikratis Programme) and modified by 4257/2014 and by Law 4555/2018 (Klesthenes I Programme) is also outlined.
