Abstract

This paper is attempting a short, non exhaustive review of the most popular project management methodologies and a research on the recently emerging worldwide trends concerning this dynamic and rapidly developing field. The attempt is carried out through the existing bibliography, the scientific articles concerning project management as well as the interviews with project management professionals that took place in this context.
