Η εφαρμογή των ενεργητικών πολιτικών απασχόλησης στην Ελλάδα. Οι Ευρωπαϊκές κατευθύνσεις και η υλοποίησή τους σε εθνικό επίπεδο
Επιτομή
Unemployment is one of the most serious problems facing Western societies
in recent years. Unemployment rates have risen since the 1970s, prompting
governments to promote active labour market policies as one of the tools to tackle
unemployment. The implementation of active labour market policies has expanded
mainly from the 1990s onwards, when both the OECD and then the European Union
began to place particular emphasis on these policies in order to reduce high
unemployment and increase employment. In Greece, active labour market policies
began to be implemented within the framework of the country's obligations to the
instructions and directions of the European Union. In the present essay is being
examined through the study of the theory and the policies that have been promoted so
far, both in the European Union and in Greece, the existence of any shortcomings or
imperfections in the design and implementation of active labour market policies in
Greece.
