Διερεύνηση δυσκολιών στην επαγγελματική ένταξη ατόμων υπό απεξάρτηση – Ο ρόλος του επαγγελματικού προσανατολισμού
Επιτομή
The subject of this dissertation is to explore the difficulties of professional
integration of people under detoxification and the role played by vocational guidance.
The main purpose of the study is to highlight the factors and parameters that hinder the
social rehabilitation and integration of this group of the population in the labor market,
in order to draw conclusions and present concrete policy proposals for measures to
address the phenomenon. The difficulties were investigated both at a theoretical level,
based on the literature review, and at the level of empirical study, through conducting
qualitative research to better capture and understand the problem.
The empirical qualitative research study was carried out by conducting semi structured personal interviews with professionals of the “Organization against Drugs”,
with the aim of investigating the difficulties of vocational integration of people aged 17-
24 who are under detoxification in the phase of social rehabilitation and highlighting the
role of vocational guidance. Sub-objectives of the research were to profile the situation
of individuals, to investigate the difficulties of preparation for their professional
integration, to study the role of family, school and School Vocational Guidance, as well
as to examine the prospects, through specific proposals for the improvement of the
professional preparation and the integration/reintegration of the target group into the
labor market.
The research findings for this age group highlight the need to take timely action
to prevent relapse and interventions that will limit the continuation of the problem at
older ages, at which the risk of professional exclusion increases. The multifaceted
difficulties they face at the individual, social and work level require a holistic approach
to the problem and constant support in their effort for professional and social
integration.
