Επιτομή
The reinforcement of Greek outward-looking entrepreneurship constitutes a constant demand
of both the productive groups and the social or statutory institutions which have that
competence. In fact, the recent economic crisis and the current COVID-19 coronavirus
pandemic have rendered this need even more urgent.

review of primary and secondary theoretical sources and empirical data, it is intended to map
the role of economic diplomacy in enhancing competitiveness and improving the country's
export performance in general, and in relation to Germany in particular. Further on, the
parameters that affect the country's competitiveness are analyzed and the role and potential
of economic diplomacy for their enhancing is highlighted, especially in a target market within
the EU (Germany). This country was chosen, given that it is the largest economy in the EU
and a leading economic partner of Greece within the Union.
This topic is addressed through the study of the following four subject areas: a) Economic
diplomacy (chapter ΙΙ), b) Outward-looking entrepreneurship and competitiveness (chapter
ΙΙΙ), (c) International competitiveness of the Greek economy (chapter IV) and (d) Outward looking entrepreneurship of Greece, particularly towards Germany (chapter V).
The present assignment concludes with some general and specific findings in relation to the
actions aimed at the Greek outward-looking entrepreneurship and suggestions which could
be deployed for the reinforcement of the Greek products and services. The conclusions of the

international competitiveness of Greece, by choosing information / promotion / networking
actions to strengthen Greek outward-looking entrepreneurship.
